
Episode #67 (Season Premiere): "Charmed Again" Original Airdate: 10/04/01 The bewitching series begins its fourth season as a fresh face is added to the comely coven to replace the departed Shannen Doherty. While mourning the death of Prue, Phoebe and Piper learn of the existence of a half-sister (Rose McGowan) who may be able to complete the Power of Three. Rose McGowan joins the cast as Paige Matthews, a half sister the Charmed Ones never knew they had. She meets the surviving Halliwells when she feels compelled to attend Prue's funeral. Phoebe seems to be coping, even after a premonition of Paige's death at the hands of the same demon that slew Prue. Piper, however, is overwhelmed by the loss, and her crisis comes to a head when she nearly breaks down during the memorial service, as Cole faces off against two demonic bounty hunters sent to kill him.
Episode #68: "Charmed Again II" Original Airdate: 10/04/01 Episode #69: "Hell Hath No Fury" Original Airdate: 10/11/01 New to the witchy world of The Charmed Ones, Paige (Rose McGowan) is learning to control her new telekinetic powers and steals the Book of Shadows from Phoebe and Piper, by dropping it out of the attic window, to use the spells for personal gain. Paige helps co-workers get what they want by casting a few spells but backfire on her giving her large breasts. Meanwhile, Pipers inability to deal with her sisters recent death makes her vulnerable to the Furies, female demon vigilantes who lure her into their fold.
Episode #70: "Enter The Demon" Original Airdate: 10/18/01 Paige (Rose McGowan) makes a major blunder when carelessly mixing potions for Piper while secretly wishing she could be in Phoebes shoes training for combat, and ends up actually switching bodies with Phoebe. While the two sisters try to reverse the spell and struggle to harness each others powers, they must battle a Zen Masters powerful disciple who has turned evil against his mentor and opened up a portal between two worlds. Episode #71: "Size Matters" Original Airdate: 10/25/01 Phoebe and Piper dont take Paige seriously when she has a weird feeling about a creepy old house, landing Phoebe in the clutches of a hideous demon (Robert Englund, Nightmare on Elm Street) and shrunk to a powerless five inches tall. When Phoebe and Piper also walk into the demons trap, his collection is complete. Dave Navarro, lead guitarist for Janes Addiction and Red Hot Chili Peppers, performs. Episode #72: "A Knight to Remember" Original Airdate: 11/01/01 Paiges favorite childhood fairy tale suddenly becomes real, bringing her face-to-face with a past life as an Evil Enchantress from Medieval times (also played by Rose McGowan) and into the arms of a Knight in Shining Armor (guest star Charlie Weber). Phoebe and Piper go back in time and end up trapped in the Dark Ages.
Episode #73: "Brain Drain" Original Airdate: 11/08/01 Phoebe and Paige must work quickly before Piper is tricked into giving up all of their powers when The Source (guest star Ben Guillory) taps into her brain, altering her perception of reality and placing her in a mental institution.
Episode #74: "Black As Cole" Original Airdate: 11/15/01 In the midst of mulling over his marriage proposal, Phoebe comes face-to-face with Coles demonic past when a widow tracks him down seeking vengeance for her husbands murder. Meanwhile, Paige encourages Piper and Leo to test their readiness to become parents.
Episode #75: "Muse To My Ears" Original Airdate: 12/13/01
Phoebe, Paige and Piper must stop Warlocks who are enslaving the worlds muses to use their divine creative inspiration for evil. In the midst of the assault, Cole becomes testy about Phoebes rebuffing his marriage proposal and is concerned that without his demonic powers he can no longer protect the love of his life.
Episode #76: "A Page From The Past" Original Airdate: 1/17/02
Paige is haunted by guilt about her parents' tragic death and blames it on her rebellious youth, so Leo takes her back in time to relive the events leading up to the car accident. Meanwhile, Phoebe and Cole experience a haunting of their own when outlaw ghosts from the 1950s possess their bodies and head to the chapel to get hitched.
Episode #77: "Trial By Magic" Original Airdate: 1/24/02 While serving on a murder trial, Phoebe has a premonition that reveals the defendant is innocent despite the overwhelming evidence against him. As she desperately stalls in the jury room, Piper, Paige and Leo frantically try to discover the real killer in time to free the wrongly accused man.
Episode #78: "Lost And Bound" Original Airdate: 1/31/02
When Paige discovers that a 10-year-old runaway (guest star Alex Black) is a firestarter, she whisks him to the manor for safekeeping, but the gang soon discovers that his foster parents are, in fact, demon bounty hunters, so they protect him while trying to teach him how to use his powers for good rather than evil.
Episode #79: "Charmed and Dangerous" Original Airdate: 2/07/02
Learning that he is fated to be vanquished by The Charmed Ones, The Source taps into the ultimate power of The Hollow, which consumes all magical powers, both good and evil. As he goes after Phoebe, Paige and Piper's powers one by one, the lives of both Leo and Cole hang in the balance. Dorian Gregory also stars.
Episode #81: "Marry Go Round" Original Airdate: 3/14/02
Phoebe is hoping that everything will be perfect for her and Coles wedding, but doesnt know that The Source has completely taken over the groom and is sabotaging the ceremony in order to orchestrate a demonic wedding which will allow their foretold son to be heir to the underworld.
